The federal historic tax credit program is one of the most powerful historic preservation tools, and is the most significant investment the federal government makes toward the preservation of historic buildings. We advise owners and developers through every step in the process, helping them to secure state and federal historic tax credits.
Our architectural historians and preservation planners have an in-depth understanding of project types and scopes of work that are best suited for the historic tax credit program. Throughout the process, we monitor the project’s adherence to historic preservation standards, and serve as the liaison to the State Historic Preservation Office and National Park Service.
