Ted works in archaeology as a field archaeologist and supervisor and in historic preservation at PAL. As part of the archaeology team, Ted participates in all phases of archaeological investigation in the Northeast for federal, state, and local agencies and for private clients.

And as a member of the Historic Preservation Team, he works on projects involving historic buildings and cultural landscapes, including historic rehabilitation tax credit projects. Before joining PAL in 2015, Ted worked with the University of Vermont’s Consulting Archaeology Program after graduating from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Anthropology. At PAL he first worked as a field archaeologist and participated in all phases of archaeological investigation. He then earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in Geospatial Intelligence Applications from Pennsylvania State University and took on the additional role of GIS specialist on PAL’s Production Team. He has a Master of Design Studies in Historic Preservation from the Boston Architectural College. He is trained and certified in OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standards.
