Sean Luttge

Sean works on all phases of archaeological investigation in the Northeast for federal, state, and local agencies and private clients.

He has supervised numerous PAL archaeological investigations and has worked on National Park Service projects at the Statue of Liberty, Sagamore Hill, and Vanderbilt Mansion in New York; Gateway National Recreation Area in New Jersey; Hopewell Furnace in Pennsylvania; and Cape Cod National Seashore in Massachusetts.

Sean has worked as an archaeologist in cultural resource management since 2007. He received a BA in Anthropology from Rhode Island College and a Master of Letters in Professional Archaeology from the University of Glasgow. His training in Scotland included total station survey methods and GIS and GPS mapping and software applications. During graduate school, Sean worked for the Glasgow University Archaeological Research Division, where he assisted with Phase III archaeological investigations at medieval farmsteads and Neolithic sites.

He is trained and certified in OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standards.
