As a member of PAL’s Historic Preservation Team since 2008, Laura has prepared National Register documentation for properties from Maine to Tennessee and has contributed to most of PAL’s National Park Service National Register projects.

Her responsibilities include National Register and Historic Landmark nominations, historic resource studies, cultural landscape studies, impact and eligibility assessments, local inventory forms, architectural surveys, preservation plans, and compliance documentation for state historic preservation offices, municipalities, and others. 

Before joining PAL, Laura’s professional work included technical writing for an engineering software company. She received a ScB in Civil Engineering from Brown University and an MA in Preservation Studies from Boston University. She serves on the Cranston Historic District Commission and is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
