Kristen supervises archaeological investigations involving sensitivity assessments, utility projects monitoring, identification surveys, site examinations, and data recoveries.

She has worked in cultural resource management since 2003 throughout New England and in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas, and Hawaii. She has participated in projects at Superfund and industrial sites and those involving exhumations of Native American and non-Native American interments. 

Kristen worked at PAL from 2004 to 2010 and rejoined the staff in 2014. She earned a BA in Anthropology from James Madison University and an MS in Cultural Resources Management Archaeology from Saint Cloud State University. She is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, a member of the Society for American Archaeology, and is trained and certified in OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standards.
