As PAL’s energy projects manager, Greg coordinates and consults with staff at review agencies, including the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Army Corps of Engineers, and with State Historic Preservation Officers, members of local historical commissions, Native American Tribal Nation representatives, and other cultural resource stakeholders.

He is responsible for project administration for PAL’s gas and electrical transmission projects and oversees the technical proposals and fieldwork.

Before joining PAL in 2007, Greg worked as an archaeologist and preservation planner and was a review and compliance archaeologist at the Massachusetts Historical Commission. As a cultural resource consultant at other cultural resource management firms, he participated in all phases of archaeological investigation for projects throughout the Northeast and the Mid-Atlantic. 

Greg earned a BA in Sociology and Cross Cultural Studies from Western Maryland College, a BA in Cultural and Historic Preservation from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, and an MA in Historical Archaeology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. He is a Registered Professional Archaeologist and a member of the Society for Historical Archaeology, the Council for Northeast Historical Archaeology and the Massachusetts Archaeological Society. Greg is trained and certified in OSHA 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standards.
